How to Get the Right Strap Size for your Apple Watch in 4 Steps

It can be confusing to know which watch band to shop for your Apple Watch, especially online when you cannot check the item before paying for it. Here are 4 things you should check before placing an order.

1. Find the Case Size of Your Apple Watch

Find the case size of your Apple Watch from the back of your Watch.

2. Find Straps that Fit Your Apple Watch

Shop for straps and bands that works with your Apple Watch. The Case Size for the watch bands should be the exact same as that engraved on your Apple Watch.
If a wrong size is chosen, the strap will not match your Apple Watch, and the connectors will be either too big or too small for your watch, just like the image below.

3. Check Your Wrist Size

Check that the length of the Apple Watch strap fit your wrist. All of our watchstraps are length adjustable (One Size Fit Most), but their shortest/ longest length differs. You can use a soft ruler to measure your wrist length, or use a non-elastic cloth/ piece of paper to get your wrist circumference, then measure its length. You can find individual wrist fit in the Product Details.

4. Adjusting Watch Strap Length

Most of our watchstraps are length-adjustable without any tools, and in case a special tool is needed, it will be included in your package for free. The following tutorial covers the adjustment methods of three of our most popular lock types:

Folding clasp

  1. Observe the holes on both sides of the watchstrap. Point the adjustment tool pin into the holes that are deeper and do not have any straight line markings.
  2. Make sure the watchstrap is laid flat on the adjustment tool platform.
  3. Rotate the tool’s knob to push the needle inside the strap out.
  4. Remove excess pieces as needed.
  5. Relink the watchstrap by putting back the needle and pushing it in from the side it came out of with the adjustment tool.
(*In case the adjustment tool pin is broken because of excessive force, please replace it with the back-up one attached at the back of the tool.)
